Sophie took to the court with a strong start in 2010, reaching the singles final of the ITF event in Fort Walton Beach, USA and with a ranking of around 158. In May, Sophie qualified and reached second round of the French Open Grand Slam to hold a current ranking of 120!

After a lot of travelling this year, Sophie is headed back to train at home in Sydney, to be ready for the 2011 Australian Summer Circuit and with a goal of reaching a top 100 ranking.
